Autodesk Internship

I spent a summer interning at Autodesk, where I had the opportunity to work on a broad range of projects.

I designed two applications for new Factory Design Suite features, which will be incorporated into the Suite for the upcoming releases. Additionally, I created mock-ups of these applications using Microsoft Expression Blend and Powerpoint, in order to present the concepts to the development team.

I developed technical marketing collateral for the Autodesk Factory Design Suite including a 10-video tutorial series on how to animate in 3ds Max Design.

I developed the workflow and specifications for the recently released Factory Modz project, which is a physics-based animation application that was released on Autodesk Labs. I also created the splash screen and a “getting started” tutorial series to accompany the release. I received developer credits for my work on the project.

I evaluated Suite usability and current training resources by learning key Suite features such as Material Flow Analysis, and offered recommendations as to how they can be improved.

I Created three animations in 3ds Max for the Product Design Suite’s biomimicry project to help them convey their concepts more effectively.
